Ch 3. People Finding their Own Way: Health 2.0
The consumer persona's journey turns into discovery of resources
that help them identify patterns and conditions similar to their
experience. The health-seeker discovers conversations and content
responsive to their questions. We do not need or expect an entire
review of the space. But there Health 2.0 and Medicine 2.0
information products. These are resources / sites / services where
consumers find support for their questions or health issues from
the emerging social networks of others facing the same issue (see,
for example:
http://www.health2con.com )
Although Health 2.0 represents a current framing of this field of
services, the field is changing so rapidly I would be reluctant to
adopt this label in the book, for concern it would be outdated by
2010. Thoughts on this from those designing in this product
space?br>
