Profile Information

What is your specific interest in design in healthcare? (Twitter-length answer)
Patient adherence, coordinating care across departments and facilities, patient-physician communication, etc.
What sector or area of healthcare do you design or work in?
Experience Design Consulting, mostly for pharmaceutical clients
Alejandra is an Experience Architect (EA) at MISI Company. At MISI she has worked on a variety of projects involving contextual inquies, information/interaction design and core usability testing methodologies. She has shadowed pharmaceutical sales reps, interviewed pharmaceutical consumers and health care professionals, and has worked closely with pharmaceutical regulatory and business teams. Alejandra’s experience outside of the pharmaceutical industry includes interactive design projects with NBA, a wayfinding study for NY Presbyterian Hospital, and an urban design competition for the Bronx Grand Concourse. Alejandra has a Bachelors in History of Science & History of Medicine from Yale University and has completed the Post Baccalaureate Certificate Program in Business at Columbia University.
