Hey don't worry about the post. As a lonely disconnected UX trained person working in healthcare for ten years :-), I didn't see your response as harsh, just passionate! What was clear is you want UX to be more involved and you are 100% right - nobody to blame but UX as a whole. Enough with the online shoe shopping, lets all get into surgery! :-)

I have so many thoughts on your post ( you echo so many of my thoughts and experiences) I want to reply, but am busy right now. I'll try and get back to this later this evening. Okay?
