Profile Information

What is your specific interest in design in healthcare? (Twitter-length answer)
I'm a user experience strategist/interaction designer with a burgeoning interest in helping to make practical changes in health care and information delivery.
What sector or area of healthcare do you design or work in?
I am currently working on an NDA-protected web application which is opening my eyes to positive alternatives for common-ailment care. I think there is great opportunity for redesigning human-centered health care solutions that benefit both caregivers and patients -- *if* we do it by experimenting small-scale, learning from systems that fail, then revising and replicating those which succeed -- while being conscious of where to draw the line between responsive design thinking and ego-driven design rhetoric. More experimentation, less design babble.
